Funded under the Victorian Women’s Health Program, Women’s Health Grampians (WHG) is 1 of 12 women’s health service services in Victoria. They include 9 regional services (1 in each Victorian Department of Health [DOH] regions) and 3 statewide services.
Since work began on our first Health Service Agreement back in 1991, WHG has been committed to the health and wellbeing of women in the Grampians Region and beyond.
Over the following years, WHG has built expertise, skills and a collection of gender data necessary to move from delivering services to focusing an impact on the systems that affect women’s health.
Today, wherever possible, WHG works in partnership with regional organisations and agencies to bring together the knowledge, expertise and skills in women’s health and health promotion needed.
WHG also assists women in the community to make informed decisions about their health through information, support and access to services and health practitioners. This service is confidential.
Members of the public can drop in at any time during business hours and chat to our Health Promotion team about health issues or other issues affecting women.
