The work of Women’s Health Grampians covers 48,112 square kilometres and comprises 11 Local Government Areas (LGA) including Hindmarsh, Horsham, West Wimmera, Yarriambiack, Ararat, Northern Grampians, Pyrenees, Ballarat, Golden Plains, Hepburn and Moorabool.
The region is further divided into three sub-regions of Central Highlands, Central Grampians and Wimmera.
The population in 2011 was 223,848 of which 112,646 (50.32%) were female.[i]
