Achieving Gender Equality in Victoria – Grampians Submission

Posted

This submission was developed collaboratively by Women’s Health Grampians, Central Highlands Integrated Family Violence Committee and key organisations and committees working in the Grampians region of Victoria. We recognise that gender inequality is a significant issue impacting not only on the lives of women and men, boys and girls, but also the social capital and productivity of our communities and have a shared commitment to achieving gender equality. As leading organisations in the region, we are committed to working in partnership across a diversity of sectors including government, community, health, media and private business, to address the structural and cultural barriers to gender equality. The leadership of the Victorian government in addressing this issue is welcomed.
