To our WHG friends and stakeholders,
I would like to let you know about the steps that Women’s Health Grampians is taking in line with current directions regarding the CoViD19 pandemic. These are highly unusual times and how we are responding is, of course, evolving.
While the offices in Ballarat and Horsham are not closed at present, some staff are choosing to work from home and in time, it is likely that all staff who can work from home will do so. We are limiting face-to-face meetings and instead are holding most meetings by phone or zoom. We are also in the process of cancelling larger events, including training and communities of practice, in order to mitigate the potential risk of these gatherings. In time, we will consider rescheduling or using alternative modes of delivery, if that is required.
We acknowledge and appreciate that many of our WHG friends and CoRE members are on the frontline of efforts to control the spread of the virus and are likely implementing business continuity plans. If there is anything we can do to support you, please do get in touch. At this point, the best way to contact us is by email.
We urge you to stay safe and well at this time, as we are reminded of how our health and wellbeing depends on the health and wellbeing of everyone in our community.
Further updates will be provided as the situation changes.
Standing together in solidarity (but not too close!),
Marianne Hendron
Chief Executive Officer
