we will hear from guest speaker Bridget Brennan
Bridget is a Dja Dja Wurrung, Yorta Yorta woman who grew up near Buangor. She is the ABC's national Indigenous affairs correspondent, covering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs, politics and social issues across Australia.
Followed by a discussion led by Sissy Austin
Sissy is a Gunditjmara woman who grew up on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Glenlyon, who currently lives on Wadawurrung country. Recently appointed Koorie Inclusion and Fairness Co-ordinator at CFA, her culture, beliefs and values are at the centre of all that she does.
Representatives from the Grampians Dhelk Dja Family Violence Regional Action Group will share the newly launched Dhelk Dja partnership agreement, built on the foundation of Aboriginal
self-determination, to ensure Aboriginal people, families and communities are free from violence.
