The information sheets below are intended to support councils in the Grampians region to apply a gender lens to their municipal public health and wellbeing plans.
These resources provide a brief gender analysis of the four focus areas identified in the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2019-2023, as well as the Prevention of All Forms of Violence and Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health priorities. They provide local statistics where available, and offer suggestions for actions. A note on the gendered impacts of COVID-19 response and recovery is also included.
