In 2018, WHG published the first Gender Inequality in the Grampians Region: Current data and trends of key indicators report which provided a baseline against which to measure impact over the long term.
In 2024, WHG revisited the report to gauge progress across four key gender equality indicators for our region – Education, Employment and Economic Security, Leadership and Decision-making and Home, Family and Caring Responsibilities. A projected gender equality timeline is included thatmeasures the gender gap, allowing us to estimate the timeframe within which gender equality may be reached based on current trends.
