Communities of Respect and Equality (CoRE) Alliance is a partnership of organisations, businesses, clubs and groups who share a vision for safe, equal and respectful communities in the Grampians region.
CoRE Members commit to the CoRE Strategy to Prevent Violence Against Women and their Children. This strategy guides individual organisations and collective work fostering communities of respect, equality and preventing violence against women.
CoRE’s Impact
Women’s Health Grampians has been evaluating CoRE’s impact since it began in 2016. We regularly reflect on how the model could be adapted to better meet the needs of its members and to strengthen actions to promote gender equality.

We also track progress across four key gender equality indicators for our region – Education, Employment and Economic Security, Leadership and Decision-making and Home, Family and Caring Responsibilities – as part of our Gender Inequality in the Grampians report series. This vital work informs both our programs and our ongoing advocacy work on behalf of the Grampians region. Learn more here.
